I know that not everyone who receives this lives in the United States however if you do, make sure to vote if you haven’t already done so. Take a little time to evaluate what you can about the down-ballot races– judges, commissioners, councilmembers, etc– because there are times when you may be living in a crisis as I am now in Asheville, NC where the competence of the people locally is put to a test that no one expected.

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics released the jobs report Friday. It is an easy read. +12000 jobs is a very low result. The hurricanes in the south, Helene and Milton, played a part. The Presidential election and how different the two candidates present their future plans is another part of it.
