The Position

This position is part of the Business Enabling Team that serves as the essential support function for the site, providing the necessary infrastructure and processes to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.

The Opportunity:

The Administrative Business Partner is an integral team member that works closely with department leadership and employees to facilitate seamless work processes and effective communication. As an Administrative Business Partner, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning department activities, as well as supporting effective communication to enable smooth and efficient business operations that are in compliance with company policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities include:
  • Supporting department leadership in managing various projects, identifying and closing gaps to achieve on time deliverables
  • Coordinating logistics for network colleagues, including Health Authorities, ensuring smooth operations and compliance
  • Facilitating GMP Compliance through inspection support and document management
  • Developing, implementing, and supporting departmental processes to enhance functional operations; manage agenda topics, meeting minutes, and follow up of decisions/action items
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams such as finance, procurement, people and culture, etc. to ensure accurate departmental budgeting, talent onboarding/off-boarding/transfers
  • Serving as the department coordinator for new systems, processes, and training compliance

Who You Are:
  • You possess a High School Diploma or equivalency AND at least 7 years of experience in related experience supporting a small to medium sized organization
  • You have experience managing projects, events, and providing departmental support
  • You have a proven track record of working collaboratively and cross functionally to support business operations
  • You have a technical aptitude and proficiency in Google Suite and other systems (i.e. SAP, ERP systems, MS Office, etc.) and can seamlessly coordinate complex meetings/logistics/training/events
  • You have a high attention to detail and a strong proficiency to problem solve and identify resources to get work done
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)

  • Experience in process improvement or operational excellence
  • Experience supporting large organizations

NOTE: The Roche site at Vacaville is in an agreement to divest. This position could be transferred to the acquiring company.

Relocation benefits are not approved for this position.

This is a hybrid position with a requirement to be onsite at least 3 days per week.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Vacaville, CA is $73,600 – 136,600. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
