While employers are unhappy with job-hoppers, it is becoming a common practice for many people, especially now that careers continue to evolve to match the current environment. When you ask these people about their reasons for job-hopping, most would say it is because of salary increases. But is it the only way people can increase their salary?

Job-hopping, a trend in which an employee stays at a job for a year or two before moving on to another, is driven by various reasons. These reasons range from the lack of challenge in their present work to the fact that they do not fit the position to the desire to earn an increased salary.
