About Our Federal to Civilian Transition Experts:

Dr. Jeannine BennettDr. Jeannine Bennett is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in both the federal sector and defense contracting. A former strategic advisor to two-star admirals at the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command, Jeannine has also supported NASA and the Department of Defense as a defense contractor with Booz Allen Hamilton. Her leadership was further enhanced through the prestigious Department of Defense Executive Leadership Development Program, a rigorous 10-month initiative designed to prepare high-potential leaders for Senior Executive Service positions. While the program was a stepping stone to SES, Jeannine applied its lessons to make lasting contributions throughout her career.

In addition to her government and defense sector experience, Jeannine is the founder of Vision to Purpose. Through her company, she provides personalized career strategy services, including coaching, resume writing, and job search assistance, to help transitioning military members and federal employees navigate the complexities of career shifts. Her expertise in strategic communications, change management, and process improvement has empowered her clients to successfully manage career transitions, including overcoming challenges like the current federal hiring freeze.

Jeannine holds both an M.B.A. and a Ph.D. and serves as a research chair at Liberty University. She is an active contributor to several industry and career associations and serves on the board of Women of Defense as a military liaison. A published author of several books, Jeannine continues to inspire and empower others through her coaching, teaching, and writing.

Robin SchlingerRobin Schlinger has been coaching federal, civilian, and military clients and adding value to resumes since 2001. In 2006, she started her own company, Robin’s Resumes®. In addition to being the owner of Robin’s Resumes®, Robin, is a Senior Human Resources Specialist supporting senior executives at NASA since 2016 has earned several awards for excellence. She has an internal and external perspective on the current changes in the Federal government. She holds numerous resume writing and career coaching certifications.

Robin has been an active contributor to numerous career organizations, including Career Directors International (CDI), National Resume Writers Association (NRWA), Georgia Career Development Association (GCDA), Career Thought Leaders, and Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches (PARW/CC). As the CDI Director of Awards, she oversaw the annual Toast of the Resume Industry (TORI) awards for five years.

Robin has spoken on Federal Resumes for nationwide organizations, including CDI, GCDA, Career Planning Academy, and other organizations.

Before becoming a resume writer and career coach, Robin earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She had a successful, over 20-year career, contributing millions to company bottom lines by leading projects as a process, research, quality engineer, and planning analyst for Fortune 500 companies.
