Does your garbage disposal need a little scent uplift?
Chances are, with everything that goes in there, stinky odors will begin to accumulate over time and smell really bad.
These fantastic DIY Garbage Disposal Refreshers are just what you need!
DIY Garbage Disposal Refreshers
Ingredients:
- 2 cups baking soda
- 1 cup salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup liquid castile soap (I use this one; it lasts like forever)
- 30 drops Lemon essential oil
Directions to make these garbage disposal fresheners:
Step 1: Combine the salt and baking soda in a bowl.
Step 2: Add the pure castile soap and essential oil.
Step 3: Add 1 Tablespoon of water at a time until it forms a small ball form, kinda of like damp sand. If you accidentally added too much water, just add a little more baking soda and salt.
Step 4: Use a tablespoon measurement spoon and pack the mixture into the spoon and set the balls onto parchment paper to dry.
Step 5: Let the garbage disposal scent balls/pods/bombs dry for 24 hours. One batch will make 36 DIY garbage disposal refreshers.
Step 6: Store them in a glass jar and use 1-3 refresher tabs to give your disposal for a fresh Lemon scent deodorizer.
