Maybe what you want to happen isn’t happening fast enough or maybe it seems like it’s so far away from where you are now but if we continue to be consistent, be there, keep trying, keep showing up, eventually, we’ll get there. Because the best way to LOSE is to never play the game, never try, just sit there on the sidelines and do nothing.
I know people like that. I’m sure you do too. They don’t do anything about their lives and yet they sit there and complain non-stop about it. My mom was like that. One of my distant friends is like that too…constantly complaining about her job and the money she makes, but never does a single thing to change any of it.
Go back to college, you’re still young, get a better job. Work online. Do a side-hustle. Get a different job. One you’d be happy at. But she’s making herself physically sick by the negativity and lack of willingness to change anything in her life and it’s sooo hard to watch! Especially since she’s in her 20’s and has so much more energy and fight and OPTIONS! And she’s wasting it! Ugh. If you’re miserable, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!! 💎
A long time ago I decided that I’d rather try and fail, then to do nothing and complain. So I try. I give it my all.
Being in the game, means fighting for your dreams. It means failing. It means falling, it means being flat on the ground wanting to give up at some points.
But it also means greater success and accomplishment than anyone else can have BECAUSE you fight for your dreams and believe me when I say, no one else is gonna fight for YOUR dreams.
Not your boss.
Not your friends.
Not your kids teacher.
Not your parents.
Not even your husband or your kids, as loving as they are.
YOU have to fight for YOUR OWN dream, the things you want in life.
When things look tough, you can’t give up. Why? Because nothing is impossible with God.
- 1 Corinthians 15:58 – God’s kingdom work will work out; God will make sure of it!
- Colossians 1:11-12 – God strengthens us and there is nothing stronger than Him!
- Galatians 6:9 – do not give up!
- Philippians 4:13 – we can do all things with His strength
👉 I hope you remember that nothing is impossible. I’m living proof of that. I wasn’t supposed to be born (surprise after the docs said my mom could never have children!). I was homeless. I’m not supposed to be successful, so many people have tried to stop me. I’m not supposed to be alive.
Good thing for me, God had a different plan for me than what the world did, and I’d be willing to bet, He has a different plan for you too! 🙌
Encourage yourself.
Uplift yourself.
Inspire yourself.
👉 It’s YOUR job to motivate YOURSELF to keep going!!!!!! 💯💯💯
Because if you rely on SOMEONE ELSE to keep you motivated, you won’t make it. They will let you down at some point. They won’t always be there when you need them. They may not even know you’re struggling.
Why so many people fail is because they rely on OTHER humans to keep them motivated along the way. This is the WRONG WAY to accomplish God’s will for your life!
We have to motivate ourselves. 💕
We have to keep pushing through all the negativity and bad stuff that happens in life (Philippians 3:13-14) and find the courage and the resolve in our own soul, to keep going.
On the other side of the climb, is something so fantastic that when you get there, you’ll know it’s worth it. Getting there, separates the “men from the boys”. The successful from the not-successful. The people that HAVE their dreams and the people that don’t.
Don’t let ANYTHING get you down!!
Get to the other side. You can do this! I know you can. I don’t care if you have to BELLY CRAWL to the other side, just get there. It’s worth it! Keep going. You have it in you to keep going. Just a little bit longer.
When everyone else is giving up, keep crawling. Getting to the other side is the only way to defeat Satan and the world trying to entangle you and keep you down.
