“He broke things in me that ain’t never been fixed. It ain’t worth it.”
~Sylvester Stallone, “Creed 2”
We live lives where many things become broken within us. It is part of creating a society of people who are accommodating and “nice.” It helps the world work.
But what if those things that have been broken within us never do heal? What happens next?
As far as I can tell from my own experience, I became numb to the damage caused and, until I woke up to my misery, I could not get well either professionally or personally.
The problem came that when I woke to my condition and how profoundly unhappy I was, there was no turning back. I had to move forward.
Before you try to change things, be aware that once you awaken, you can’t go back . . . but you now know there is a difference.
Careers can be made AND BROKEN from the decision you make.
