Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Reliable attendance on all scheduled workdays
- Work in teams to clean and sanitize guest rooms to the highest quality.
- Follow checklists as given for each room or location.
- Communicates with Supervisors and Managers daily and throughout the workday, communicating finished rooms, maintenance issues, guest requests, needed items, etc.
- Maintain service closets, housekeeping carts, and vacuums.
- Follow all service closet and loading dock procedures.
- Greet, smile at, and provide excellent customer service to guests when in the hallways.
- Report all issues with rooms.
- Follow all trash and recycling procedures.
- Follow all safety and chemical procedures.
- Always use proper PPE
- Clean The Lake Fork Building, The Resort Center Building, Public areas, Firehouse offices, and the HR offices as assigned.
- Deep Clean hotel rooms, public areas, and base area spaces (Closure season only)
- Strip and Bag rooms as needed.
- Return all lost and found items, properly tagged, to the housekeeping office.
- Be kind to all guests and fellow team members.
- Snow removal from balconies and other public areas
- Responding to Guest requests
- Laundry duties as assigned.
- Housekeeping Tasks as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Knowledge:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Will be required to be fluent in English, other language skills preferred.
- Will be required to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written.
- Previous Housekeeping experience, preferred.
- Will be required to ask for help and clarification.
- Ability to follow all department and TSV guidelines and procedures.
Work Environment:
Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is often a fast-paced work environment, especially during Holiday and Peak days. TSVI is located in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff.
Physical Demands of Position Include:
Frequently standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching for long periods of time daily. Occasionally lifting 40-70 pounds. This position will require you to be out in winter conditions 10% of the time and indoors 30% of the time.
Background Check:
Positions dealing with children, of safety-sensitive and/or confidential nature, require driving or positions that handle cash may require a background check and MVR check. Employment is contingent upon a favorable background check and MVR check.
