How you’ll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
- The Tool Room Attendant is responsible for supporting maintenance, Tooling Analyst and Central Tooling with their tooling needs.
- Attendants ensure the tool room is clean and well organized.
- Duties include but are not limited to; maintaining a tool crib on assigned shift independently, issuing and receiving tooling using the Tooling Management system, data accuracy, compliance processes with PMET, revision-controlled tooling, tool/kit validation upon issuing and receiving, ordering stock, support line, base, OSR, supporting CT initiated shipping including Webvision, in-sourcing with tooling needs, minor tool repair, cutting material and proper binning.
- Should be able to comprehend and apply information contained in technical manuals, procedural manuals and blueprints.
- Attendant is responsible for safe operation of mechanical and manual material handling equipment and of company vehicle(s).
- The successful candidate will be responsible for consistently practicing safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
- Tool Room Attendants along with their leadership will assist and support the Tool Analysts and Central Tooling.
The minimum starting hourly rate for this position is $19.57 with a potential maximum entry rate of $20.16. The ability to reach the maximum hourly rate is dependent upon several other offered premiums (Examples would include but not limited to – Airframe and Powerplant license , Shift differential, Station location differential, Line Maintenance differential, Skill differential)

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be able to read and write English and be able to comprehend and apply information contained in technical manuals.
- Must possess basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic disciplines as they apply to aircraft systems.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing to work rotating or fixed shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to work in a safe manner and meet the physical requirements which qualify a person to perform essential job functions, including the ability to lift at least 80 pounds.

- Should possess the ability to meet deadlines with high productivity and accuracy.
- Must be a team player with focus on customer service; must be able to work well with others.
- (If transferring internally) Must be currently performing satisfactorily in present position.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Prefer to have at least six months of mechanical experience or technical training/schooling; preferred areas of study may include but are not limited to: automotive, sheet metal and electrical/electronics
