LinkedIn Rollouts (5 🌊 ⤨ ⏳ ↑)
NEW LinkedIn Feature Rollouts usually follow a standard 5 🌊 Waves: ⤨ Randomized, ⏳Timed, & ↑ Increasing in Size, so that LinkedIn can evaluate, adjust, sometimes eliminate, and ultimately to reduce any negative impact, unpredicted loads or code collisions that might blow up the platform.
Historically, a clean rollout takes ~30 to 90 Days to complete but over the last few of years we have had rollouts that have taken over a year to complete, some never complete, and the feature is removed.

▲ [Games] expand to 4 with the addition of Tango, a logic game where you need to fill a grid so that each row and column contains an equal number of suns* and moons*.

💀: [Event Open Messaging] to 2nd+ level connections in the event’s Networking tab, removed, eliminating the event connectivity invite unless they have Open Profile Premium feature turned on (that’s the 3rd button option below).
Con: this will be missed by Jobseekers who used it properly in networking, as designed.
Pro: this will not be missed by Event participants who got tired of being SPAMmed by nefarious “attendees”.

🧨 [Reactions] popup may be glitching and pulling the pre-2022 full circle icons display. Once clicked it goes back to the normal icons to choose from. Seems t last a few hours or a few days. More than likely a miscoded pull image issue.

🧨 [# Hashtags] within posts on Desktop browsers, were glitching, temporarily, by not displaying the blue hyperlink and not being clickable.
On Desktop, [# Hashtags] were removed from home page’s (Discover hub) in left side menu and are no longer listed in manage your network.
Lasts for about 24 to 48 hours one day and caused a post panic of # doomers.

🧨 [Headline] on Mobile now recognizes hard coded spaces allowing some visual play in Mobile branding. These blank spaces are not recognized on Desktop and do directly impact your up to 220 spaces within your headline.

🧨 (# Hashtags) disappeared from home pages’ Discover hub (found at the bottom of the Home page left side menu), and are no longer connected in (Desktop)’s & removed from (Mobile)’s Manage your network.
Discover more goes to the Discovery hub which doesn’t have any # Hashtags
Still shows (# Hashtags) on Desktop Manage your network but not connected to the listing and show a page that says “No Hashtags followed”
Why does [in] not like us using #’s, because they work, they circumvent their content ranking algorithm and reduce Advertisings/Sponsor/Boost revenue. There is big $$$ in controlling our Feed.

Pick One:
1. (Maximize screen space) where sponsored message ads will appear in your inbox allowing more screen space with fewer ads. (Recommended)
2. (Receive banner ads) where multiple banner ads will rotate above your inbox. These may appear more frequently.
No, “Don’t put ads in my inbox” is not an option.
